plotholes / unresolved loose ends that have bugged me: - Max (season 2). yeah, I know he's resolved in The Game.. but I was hoping he'd be touched on in season 3. it's like they scrambled to explain him after it was too late, so they wrote a game to finish his storyline. - the outbreak (season 3). this is such a huge loose end that I'm convinced I missed something.. twice. you've got a huge outbreak going on. about an hour of the plot is spent trying to contain this outbreak. the guy gets out, his wife gets infected (I think), he starts bleeding in a convenience store and.. bam. you've got a serious outbreak. at that point, the show turns to being about SAUNDERS and THE VIRUS and completely neglects what is a huge problem. we never learn what happens. why spend all that time worrying about an outbreak if you're going to drop it just like that? - Behrooz (season 4). I already mentioned this before, but this isn't something you throw in as a deleted scene, especially if you're going to rescue him. - Keeler (season 4 and beyond). I've heard that the writers said Fox Execs vetoed the killing of a sitting president on national television, and while I'm not a big fan of censorship, at least it makes sense. what doesn't make sense is neglecting to say a single thing about him during day 5. he still has no resolution. is he alive? is he going to make some grand return a la Palmer? who knows. I get the feeling that the same is going to happen with Logan, and maybe even Wayne. - Jack being alive (season 5). I think this is actually explained in the prequel, but it bothers me anyway. Jack being alive is a HUGE storyline, not something you mention in passing in the prequel. only four people knew Jack was alive, and by the beginning of season 5 it isn't even a secret. boo. --- xexyz |

Regarding the virus... Adam's sister gets infected, and massive
quarantine areas are set up everywhere. Palmer tells all of his staff
to divert all resources to CTU in order to contain the spread... We kinda have to assume that it's contained based on the fact that there's no tragedy there - and you also have to keep in mind that watching CTU contain the virus would've been kinda boring as ****. >_> Regarding Keeler, man it would suck if Wayne dropped off the map. He'd better ****ing come back. And Jack's storyline doesn't seem very interesting. The glimpse that we catch at the beginning of Season 5 looks like it's pretty representative of all that's happened. He's started renting a house; his landlady has a minor crush on him; he works at a construction site with inconsistent labour demand, similar to the 1930s. >> I guess the problem with Season 5 is that the cost of being the best season was basically all of the best characters on the show. I really didn't like Saunders's ending. it was like.. he was
untouchable, then they found his weak spot, struck it for massive
damage and he turned into a wuss. then he gets shot by some woman at
CTU. always left a bad taste in my mouth. that scene wasn't even on my radar. just enough Saunders scene for me. I seem to be lower on the guy than others are. --- xyzzy 8-bit plastic love machine |

Yeah, Saunders did turn out to be a Jack of All Trades Except For One. But he was pretty cool while he lasted. Taking him down was cool but not legendary IMHO. >> --- Gandhi loved you, and look what happened to Gandhi. |

Speaking of the Season 2 finale, 'Either fire me or get out of my chair' had to be one of my single favourite 24 quotes... It's really hard to make a list of awesome quotes in 24; there are so many. =\ --- Gandhi loved you, and look what happened to Gandhi. |

my favourite quotes are something like: 1. "Is there anything else, charles?" (season 5) 2. "Mr. President, you owe me." (season 6) 3. PROTECTING ME FROM WHAT 4..... there's just so many. I like a lot of quotes, but none jump to mind. "this'll help you with the pain" (season 4) comes to mind, as well as the obvious ones like Kneecap and Hacksaw. --- xexyz |

I should rewatch season 4 or 5. I recently watched the end of season 4,
but that was only because my best friend couldn't stop watching it and
had me come over anyway. I got to see all the good stuff in 4, so maybe

DiCaprio was amazing in The Departed; haven't seen anything else of his
besides Titanic and Romeo/Juliet. If he's as good as he is in The

I think it's because I always visit B8 first and then once in a while I
switch the '8' to whatever Mad Stalker is. Then I come back to B8, and
