Oh, what the crap. The Eternal Key was in those ruins? Argh. I've got to back there and get that.

See, that's why this game needed some kind of ridiculous super boss. Then you could just "lol eternal key" it.

Dont you know Japanese? You could get the DC. You could always fight the final boss of the Soloman trials with it.

And yea, going back to Neam is NOT a bad thing, the music is great.

Director's Cut? What all did they throw into that? That sounds pretty interesting.

And the music might be good, but finding that one chest I missed isn't going to be.

trust me, the superboss in the DC is not fun. have you fought Solomon? that's about as superboss-y as SH2 US gets.

Oh? That's good to hear. It always seemed so damn weird that I never bothered to do it, but I'll check that out next since I'm not quite satsified enough with Gepetto's level to take on that Man Festival and the Fort of Regret is mindnumbingly bad.

that place isn't so bad if you do it throughout the game. it opens up pretty early. but all the fetch questing at the end could get really tedious, yeah.

Such a cynic.

They are ALL worth it.... however... the Doll House is one of the best. The rewards aren't as great but the level design is killer.

They're entertaining enough to do, but they're also really unnecessary. That said, it's more play time with Covenant and that's what counts !!

-- I did the Doll House. The talking dolls in the corners were just creepy. And then one of them ends up manipulating Gepetto -- MORE PROOF OF ZHUZHEN SUPERIORITY AWW YEAH !!

-- I took on a few of those Solomon Trials. I hadn't done any before and a whole mess of new trials had opened up when I went back to Goreme Valley, all the way down to Emodiment Level 2. I did the ones with one character, and Yuri soloed them without any problem.

-- I beat the game again with all the goods I had found. Kato was much, much easier this time around, thanks to Dark Seraphim! The ending was even better than the first time, too. Love this game.

Excluding the ending, The Miracle was one of my top three favorite "scenes" from the game. After playing SH1, it probably would be a good idea to go watch it again.

I'm planning on playing a New Game+ to get the whole experience again with SH1 under my belt. Should be good.

I want to see a bad ending where everyone dies and the bad guy takes over the world. now that's a bad ending.

It was kinda one of those mixed things. I thought about getting SH1 first, since I knew Covenant was a sequel, but I also figured it'd be a whole lot harder to find SH1 since its older and rather obscure. Then I saw that CG shot of Yuri and was like "WTF no" because Yuri in SH2 looks so much better, so I decided to go with Covenant instead -- easier to find, cheap, and non-scary looking Yuri design.

Still, I got some serious enjoyment out of them, so it works! :P

But fetching for bullets for Koudelka's gun isn't right. RPGs are supposed to have infinite ammo for weapons. :(
