lol you shuld have checked Nicholai's profile (Its in his status
screen) it states directly he's a spy, and its there RIGHT when you
meet him. Really, truly, play SH1 first, you get the entire Alice

You guys can quit with the SH1 stuff, because I'm not playing it first. If I complain any
about not understanding, or that the game makes no sense, feel free to

Something I want to comment on. The old man is a puppeteer, right --
BUT WHY DOES HE HAVE A DOLL OF A LITTLE GIRL WEARING A SHORT DRESS?!
That's has to be the strangest weapon I've ever seen for a character.

A few quick notes. -- I love the scene where Karin comes out in her new outfit. "Stars? I saw paradise!" Yuri's awesome. -- The two, uh, freaks who do the item shop are...strange. But I can already sense that I'm pretty much showering Yuri with everything possible, because he's pretty much OHKOing enemies while the others are having trouble -- he also barely takes any damage. darn my bias -- Making outfits for Cornelia -- the little doll -- is...no. -- I don't like underground subways. --- "It bugs the crap out of me when someone talks more than I do." |

augh no sh1 oh well, you can still enjoy it. but you're going to be missing what, in my opinion, makes the best part of the game. but that's cool, you can enjoy it without it. as for SP, SH2 gives a terrible explanation of it, so let me explain: every turn, you decrease by 1 SP. if you hit 0, you lose control of your character and you won't get EXP for the fight. you can restore SP using "pure" items -- just think of it as another meter you have to keep above 0. --- No results found for transcience. Just finished playing for a bit -- food break! I'm currently in the
Wine Cellar right now going after the Mayor's thugs who stole the
children from the shop in La Havre. -- The chick with the whip, or the stick whatever, at the end of the subway tunnel is...so bad. That is such a bad character design. -- Joachim introduction is one of the corniest, and hilarious, things that has happened in the game so far. Kind of crazy, but entertaining. -- All of my guys so far are level 8. Everyone's got the latest equipment and whatnot -- although I've been going nuts with giving Yuri all of the Hit Expands. -- I've gotten three of Yuri's Fusions -- Dark, Light, and Fire. Fire is Level 3, Dark is Level 2, and Light is Level 2. Just a few souls short of upgrading Dark to Grade 2 since I like that one for whatever reason. -- Yuri is awesome. -- I've got nothing... --- "It bugs the crap out of me when someone talks more than I do." |

I always focus on one fusion in SH2 and level the christ out of it. I
like Fire, but other ones work as well. plus, once you get the second
level fusion, it's big enough that fusing into it is an instant

You know, I usually don't read playthrough topics, but SH2 is one of my
favorite games. Anyway, I agree that Veronica's character design is

SH2 is Yuri, Yuri and more Yuri. the other characters are just kinda...
there. I don't mind because the main character holds the story together
so well, but you don't get the interaction that you would with other

I'd agree with that, tranny, but it's such a fun game that it really
doesn't bother me. The thing that bugged me about the game was that

honestly, the subway station is about as hard as the game gets. you get
packs of six enemies and those snake guys can do a little bit of

Yuri's awesome. Now you see why he is my favorite character. ^_^ Also, tranny mentioned the Fire fusion and maxing it out, Earth is just as worthy if not MORE worthy. Its STR stat isn't quite as high as Fire but it is higher than anyother elemental. Eventually the Earth fusion gets an ability that restores SP. Its nice. And when you come across items called "Seal of" (life, strength, etc.) they are PERMANENT stat ups that you can use once. Generally, using them from the your out of battle menu gets you plus 1 to a stat. Using them in battle gets you a better result. You will get a judgement ring and if you hit the gold area you get plus 2 and if you get a perfect, you get plus 3. Seals are great items and essentially make anyone the strongest character in the game if you get enough. KB |

Haha, yeah. When I first went into the subway station, every non-Yuri
character was getting hit for some pretty brutal damage. I ended up
with a couple of people dead at the end of a few battles, but after
running around not knowing exactly what I needed to do, it got easier

I got one of those Seal things for beating something. I used it on Yuri
to give him +1 Vitality, but I'll have to remember to use those in

| I would recommend doing it right after you save if you are going for three. You can load it if you miss or hit the gold area. The perfect pie slice is tiny. |

| Hey, HM, any plans to play FtNW? Its pretty weak
storywise, and they completely drop the dark atmosphere, but its got

I made it to Wales. Huzzah! -- I made it through that Wine Cellar pretty easy, then ran into Veronica again. She's still awful -- and combined with Joachim, the cheesiness is off the charts. Funny stuff, though. -- I liked arriving in the town with the storm going on. It's been a while since I've seen weather implemented into a RPG. Well, I guess not too long since I played FFXII a few months ago. Still, I liked the whole feeling of the town at the time. -- Ran into some guy that knew Yuri who used to be in the Japanese Imperial Navy. "LOL HM SHOULD HAVE PLAYED SH1 FIRST," I know. Don't know anything about the guy, seems kind of strange and he clearly knows more than he lets on (hello there secret society). Yuri has some conversation after first meeting him while Karin and Gepetto are getting plastered about Alice's death. -- Another one of those Soul Scenes takes place. Jeanne is telling Yuri that she's been trying to find his happiness, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere. He plays it cool saying he's happy, but then Jeanne busts out the "You feel you have to live for Alice," and that obviously hit a spot. I like how he handles situations like this. Good stuff. -- Spent some time upgrading my equipment, upgraded the Dark Fusion to level 3, I think, to get Orexis (nice evasion; good power; good speed). I can't seem to upgrade it beyond this point in the Graveyard, though. -- I was screwing around with the Party Member screen and noticed that Team C only has one person it. I found this intriguing, so I selected it with Yuri as the only character. Holy crap easy access SCC, baby! I fought a couple of battles with him, kicked lots of ass no problem, then switched back over. -- Made it through the mines without much trouble. I noticed one area there seemed to be a guy standing on a level below me. I didn't ever manage to find a way to him -- if there is a way to him -- but it was pretty strange. This place wasn't too bad, either. Tranny was dead on with every other post-subway not being anything really difficult. -- Fought a boss at the very end. I'm guessing that Covenant just isn't really a hard game, or maybe I'm overleveled or something. I dunno, but this guy went down pretty quickly. He had a pretty annoying spell that increased his speed by 133% and some of his physical attacks reduced my characters' speed by 33%. I've done a NG+ Yuri SCC. hard at the beginning, but once you get
enough HP to take a hit or two it's pretty simple. never really
understood why they let you switch party members with a single button,
