Sir Chris Board 8 Bodyguard. - You and I go back a ways. I think our earliest interactions involved the 2005 FFP (which I still want to finish someday RARGH) and me editing your work. I was a little worried about it, because my initial impression of you was someone who didn't take criticism well and was very protective of his work, yet you agreed to many of the changes and we became, I think, a good team. - I was very wrong about the criticism bit as well - you seem like the type of person who, with a few minor exceptions (which we all seem to have), takes honest criticism well. - There've only been a few times we've gotten heated at each other (or rather, you've gotten heated at me), which is impressive for someone as forceful as you and as sensitive as me. - In case you couldn't tell, I do like you a good deal. I respect your honest outlook on things and your willingness to challenge people. This is why I made you Bodyguard in WWYD/Board 8 Mafia - you commit yourself fully to whatever you do. - I feel like I'm one of the few people who you let see through your bullish persona, which is kinda neat; I get a glimpse of the "real you" every so often, and it's pretty refreshing. Neeeeeeeeee Sushi, Nippon, Ayatollah, Grandia, Cascadian Farm Granola Cereal - One of my best buds on the board. We share interests in almost everything, except for my obsession with determining if Dark Schneider could beat Schroedinger's cat in a fistfight. Not Dave - Best alts ever. I compare your creativity to somebody like, say, NickBush or Luster, who had/have hideous alts, whereas you actually went for quality over quantity. - You've gone through many phases as a user. You used to be a troll who derived simple amusement from making others flustered, spreading false information, and getting people banned. Then you started the alt kick, where you grew to like the site and its community. Then you gave that up and became more laidback, almost withdrawn. Then after WWYD I feel like you got pulled in again, but this time you were wiser, more mature, like an older dog watching the pups galavant (how the hell do you spell that anyway) around. - This wiseness and analytical skill makes you a natural Mafia player. Whereas my hesitance and dithering make me ill-suited for the game, you've walked with "darker crowds" before, which makes you unafraid to go deeper, into a dark pits of the soul Mafia requires at times. --- This was KING BELLIS LOL ed status: i'll lose to FASTFALCON on my own time |

aga - I marvel at your ability to succeed at damn near anything you try. Though you're inferior to Paratroopa in the broadness of categories you excel at, you far exceed him in your success within those categories. You made a preposterous amount of money off of spoilers and will likely continue to make preposterous amounts of money doing things you love. Hope you're grateful for this blessing. - I never really got into any of your projects, for what it's worth (probably nothing!). I registered once at GFA during one of the contests but found the board layout confusing and the names unrecognizable; I've browsed spoilers a few times but found the yaoi selection a bit lacking. These things shouldn't necessarily reflect badly on you. - I find it difficult to see how anyone could dislike you - the most wrong you've ever done on the board was that KOS sig thing, which was harmless, if a bit disconcerting. I find myself and others rooting for your success in present and future endeavors despite our minimal interactions, which is impressive. Not many can have that effect on people. Kleenex fatalize - Probably my best internet bud. Like the neon writeup, there's little here I can tell you that you don't already know, so I'll try instead an analysis of your personality. - You don't like to talk about yourself and your internet persona is "confined" mostly to one-liners and video game music discussion. You like what you like and don't try to force yourself on others. When confronted you don't really respond with open hostility; instead you retreat a little bit and respond with snarky comments. This all makes some people feel you're dull, or elitist, or cynical, or any of those things. - I disagree. I think it makes you a normal dude - you're not balls-to-the-wall argumentative, you're not somebody whose existence is validated by pissing people off. You don't use Board 8 or the internet as a sounding board. You do your own thing, you like who you like, and that's that. - I like piecing together the little details of what I know and can infer about you. You're a comp sci major, I believe, albeit one who likes to procrastinate and get by on his innate intelligence rather than hard work (I know how that is). You secretly admire neon for his success in engineering and would probably love to have a career like his. You are never sure how to take the KleenexFAQs topics; part of you wants to laugh, part of you gets a little irritated.
