Hmmm. Not bad. Missed a shot about the engineering stuff though. Not
really a huge fan of software engineering and I'm probably going to try
and steer away from that career path if possible, though given my
situation right now I'd take anything ! KleenexFAQs is weird for me. I mean, it's fine and all but what I don't like is when I make a topic and someone runs in and posts a really terrible one in an attempt to be funny. That part does annoy me. MichaelWClark - Oy. - There are only two users I can think of that actively bring down the quality of the board when they post. You're one of them! - You are probably the worst user I don't have ignored and the only bad user who actually provides me with a certain degree of entertainment. Those two things are most definitely related. - You are like the complete opposite of me. You yell your damn fool head off all the time about whatever ill-formed opinion happens to come across your mind, be it video games or anime or your cursory knowledge of film. When someone disagrees with you, rather than backing down or reformulating your opinion in more appropriate, refined terms, you instead yell even louder. I imagine you as a social recluse in real life who balls his hands into fists and really, really wants to be the smartest kid in the class. - All of this is obvious to everyone except yourself and for anyone else I wouldn't even bother with this level of basic analysis, but you seem like you really need a good smack in the face. - So why don't I have you ignored? Because, like I said, you entertain me, and I don't know why. Vlado and BT get under my skin because they're so far beyond anything rational that it just blows my mind. But you... it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. You just can't look away. GMUN - You confuse the living crap out of me. I swear, if somebody in one of my writing classes came up with you as a character, I would tell them it's too over-the-top. - Obviously, you crave attention of any kind, be it good or bad. I say "obviously" because this is probably your main defining attribute. Whenever you're the center of drama, it's clear that you enjoy it, even if you're "embarrassed" by the flat-out degrading things people floor at you. - Your other main attribute is codependency. Some users rely on this board for a variety of reasons. But you need it. It validates your existence, it feeds your soul and spirit. Without it - or some other form of external validation - you would probably collapse. - You don't get any life-affirming things at home from your doting but clueless mother, her sex-crazed boyfriend, and your similarly computer-addicted sibling. So you seek it elsewhere, and here happens to be the place where you turn your simplistic, needy personality. - That's why pikaness was such a revelation for you, because she accepted you at face value and gave you all the attention you "needed." - I would offer you some advice in terms of breaking out of these habits, but I'm not sure if you really want to. =/ - In conclusion: NEXT TIME I INTERVIEW YOU BE LESS BORING K THX --- This was KING BELLIS LOL ed status: Maybe the chef was Darkseid. gotspork - You are a little mass of unexpectedness, which I find pretty entertaining. You're a girl on the internet who doesn't absolutely crave attention and doesn't flaunt your gender in order to get it, yet you enjoy the attention you do receive, maybe because it comes harder than it would if you made lots of "hey I'm a girl" topics. Yet you do post little things to make yourself more recognizable in people's minds ("oki"). - You're married and relatively happy with your life, another unexpected thing for both a female poster on B8 and someone so young. You've either suffered from depression in the past or known someone close to you who has, and this seems like it makes you more easy-going, as if you realize firsthand that the good times are transitory and you should enjoy them while they last. - You had an awesome idea for a Tag-Team Anonymous User Contest thing awhile back that I picked up with after you abandoned it, with limited success. - Do you write at all? CrimsonOcean - We, like, never interact, so this INTROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS (or introlysis if you will) might be way off-base. - The sole bit of drama I remember from you was a thing involving either yourself or a friend of yours who was struggling with feelings of bisexuality. I remember wondering why you made the topic here, since, being a girl, most of the responses were predictably coarse and insensitive, but I wonder that almost every time someone posts something personal. (The sole personal topic I've ever made here was announcing that I had just been in a mental hospital.) - Beyond that, you are easy-going, a little too into user popularity, and fun and agreeable to get along with. You frequent the "Board8Train" AIM chats, GFA, and other social venues beyond the message board. Lockes Ragnarok - I've seen you around, quite frequently actually, but you've done nothing that's stuck out to me, for good or bad. - Awhile back I made a (pretty stupid) "top ten most underrated users" list that was comprised of nothing but lurkers, the assumption being that if the board was made up of nothing but loud-mouthed braggarts, it would be intolerable; we need people like you, who pop in randomly with comments and probably frequent other online social outlets, to keep a level of balance. nintendonut - I was half-tempted to skip you just to be mean. =P - You are someone who gets very into his interests, oftentimes at the exclusion of rationality. You flat-out said you wouldn't be participating in the Most Powerful Character contest because Yukari was kept out; you take assaults on your tastes personally; you care very deeply about what others think (as evidenced by your constant bumping of this topic). - All of this, taken together, would imply a codependent, narcissistic personality, but I don't really see that from you. I see somebody who's probably a little insecure and a little needy, and who becomes very protective of himself, maybe because he's been hurt before in the past. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that; I was that way once. - In many ways, despite your often disparate tastes, you're really similar to Para in that both of you can lash out at others when they feel like their tastes have been assaulted. Icehawk - I used to be ever so confused by you. At various points in time I felt like you were unheathily dependent on the board and its perception of you (see: you bumping your Rate the User topic approximately one hundred times). Then I felt like you were trying too hard to get away from that stigma by openly mocking both it and anyone else who had it. You irritated me during this phase because I felt like anytime somebody would make a comment about user popularity you would respond with "LOL HE CARES TOO MUCH" or something like that. - Now you seem like you're not really working on developing a persona so much as you're just kinda hanging out and enjoying yourself. You play XBox Live with neon all the time, you run that wrestling-esque user contest with JaKyL, you talk about wrestling and video games and e-popularity and you don't really worry about what others think of you any more. - I don't know what caused the change, or if there was ever a change to begin with, or if you just run through personas like Madonna does. Not bad, although I've never really been hurt in the past. I also don't
really care about what others think about me, but I tend to feel bad if
people don't have an opinion on me at all, which tends to be what I get
