I always thought it was cool (albeit a little annoying from a gameplay
perspective) that Paladin Cecil starts all the way back at Level 1.

Well it is definitely a FF first for a character to go back to lvl 1
after a great awakening of sorts. From a gameplay perspective i was
pissed but then again its the first time i've seen a character get

After going through the Serpent's Passage Cecil and others arrived in Baron. Somehow i thought it would be a dungeon -_- Anyways while in Baron a townsperson mentioned a karate master in the inn so I immediately checked it out. Turns out Yang had some form of amnesia and he fought Cecil! My side won of course and Cecil refreshed Yang's memory of the situation at hand. Yang revealed that the Leviathan swallowed Rydia and left Edward's location to be unknown. Cid was arrested so somehow Cecil and company is going to have to sneak into the Castle with the key of Baron to find him. Got into the Castle. As soon as i tried to find out where Golbez was, Baigan came and wanted to join our cause. However the twins smelled a rat and it was Baigan! First boss in which you have to hit multiple parts and first game in which Fast/Haste doesn't allow multiple hits. That fight got a little challenging when Baigan casted Wall on himself -_- I beat him though and on to Golbez! Somehow the King of Baron still exist. I could have sworn he would have been possessed as well.... and he was! He was the elemental fiend of water, Kainazzo. I found it funny that he mocked the elemental fiend of Earth. This battle was quite interesting. He would create a water shield in which if hit with bolt he wouldn't attack. So that in itself made the battle easier than it is. Then another way to make it a cake walk, i used Quake and it did 2K damage o.O All in all, the Earth Fiend gave more of a challenge imo. Now on to Golbez! Stop with your easy distractions! LOL at Cid breaking out of jail to yell at the king and LOLOLOL at Tellah and Cid arguing about being old XD. OMG NOOOOO Palom and Porom! They turned themselves into stone to save us from being Jill sandwiches!!!!!! I love how Tellah always wants to avenge someone but so far hasn't been able to. Now Cid will reveal the location of his airship so we can get that bastard Golbez. As soon as we got into the Enterprise (they love to recycle things in FF games) The Red Wings' airship approached us and Kain bargained Rosa for the Earth Crystal. So that is the next destination. <3 that this is the first game that Cid is a party member and he uses a wrench!!!! --- "Darn. I went back to Toroia to reveal to the 8 clerics that i had indeed
obtained the Earth Crystal but before we could all celebrate Kain's
voice boomed into the castle and demanded we come outside to commence
the bargaining. This airship is quite long and quite hard. I'm glad i had enough supplies to make it to a save point. OMG MAGUS SISTERS!!!!! So this is what game they came from. Disposed of them and now Rosa time! Cecil and company tried to exchange the crystal for Rosa however never make promises to snakes. Golbez had no intention on giving Cecil back Rosa and got his crystal scot-free or so I think..... Tellah finally had his chance to avenge Anna, Polom, and Parom. He unleashed a barrage of spells on Golbez but to no avail Tellah couldn't mortally harm him. Then he tried Meteo and Yang, Cid,and Cecil begged him not to be he did it anyway. Golbez took 9999. He finally avenged his daughter with his own death but Golbez wasn't even dead! Meteo broke Golbez control over Kain and he realized all the bad things he had done while he was a guinea pig. Kain, Cecil, and others went to rescue Rosa who barely escaped a boulder crushing her head. Now to see what happens next! LOL at Cid's comment when Rosa and Cecil were getting it on XD. As they were leaving the Tower, Valvalis the elemental fiend of air ambushed the party to finish them off. It mentioned how it was going to do so earlier but mentioned Meteo and Tellah. Guess she was scared of his powers and wanted to see him perish. All the elemental fiends seem to have some unusual strategy to them. Water Fiend had the water shield and this on had an air shield. However this boss was especially cheap imo due to the fact it used weak and petrify within the same turn :( I won and now im seeing what is happening next. Kain revealed that they are in fact 4 more crystals therefore the quest is only half-way over!! Gotta find i way a way to the underground and after that im done for today. --- "Darn. and others went to rescue Rosa who barely escaped a boulder crushing her head. Odd Censorship Note: In the real version, this is a giant axe blade. I actually would have prefer the axe because the whole time Cecil and
everyone else was in that room i was thinking the boulder was going to
roll down the chair and crush someone, and it never happened!!!!
</3. Well it seems on of my previous post contained some form of vulgar language, inappropriateness, etc. so i have to repost part of the game that is now left out. Just replace this post with the deleted post and you won't miss a thing. Here it is: I arrived in Toroia to find pretty much nothing. Stores sucked, item shop sucked, people pretty much had nothing to say. I had one saving grace though BLACK CHOCOBOS!!!!!! And they can fly!!!!!!! Well i heard that if i want a flying one i have to go up north so i check that out later after i go to Toroian Castle and the metal cave someone mentioned in the northeast. I approached the castle to see that it contained only women, however some guy was hiding in the bushes trying to check them out and whenever i talked to him he was like go away XD. For some reason i don't understand why Golbez wouldn't attack this place himself. Guess he isn't pure evil like many of the previous villains in FF games (cough cough Emperor from FF2). Apparently a dark elf had abducted the crystal and he is hidden in a magnetic cave in which anyone with metallic equips can't act at all -_- Worst stipulation in FF history. Oh well the enemies don't seem that bad so let me un-equip everyone but Cid so i can finish up this cave. Damn Coeurl type enemies!!! I hate instant death spells!!!!! XD. The Dark Elf reminded me of Board 8 in a way. Talking in all caps and acting stupid on purpose but he wasn't acting XD. Too bad his stupidity was his only weakness. When he attacked o.o He casted Fire 2, Ice 2,and Thunder 2 during one turn. It wasn't fair i tell you!!!!! I died of course. Somehow Edward sensed what happened to Cecil and others and attempted to get his harp. With the Twin Harp in our possession, Edward music distracted the Dark Elf enough for him to negate his power over metal. Rematch ******. He was still pretty challenging though. He still had his tri-magic barrage but the damage was severely weakened. However weak still left a target at 1 hp so weak + tri barrage = dead party member and unfortunately it was Cecil -_- During the fight the Dark Evil transform into a dragon with a pretty devastating attack </3. Luckily it didn't have much hp. Hurray i have the Earth Crystal! Now to get Rosa back! Playing after I shower. --- *Heroic Palmer* they are not fat their big bone -ertyu |

Ok with the Magma Key in my possession i can now go to the underworld
to obtain the 4 crystals of darkness. I found the town of Agart in
which a townsperson said to go to the underworld, the Magma Key must
return to its resting place. There was a well in town and whenever i
approached it, it initiated the item menu meaning this is in fact the
place for the key. I put it in an a mountain turned into a crater.
Someone mentioned the only way to go to the underworld is by flying so
i parked my airship about the crater and it plunged down into darkness. Right out the gate the Enterprise was in the middle of a war between the Dwarfes and Golbez. Cecil and others got caught in the crossfire and the Enterprise got knocked out of the sky. Right now i'm in the dwarf castle and im going to meet their King. King Giott revealed that his is the ruler of the Underworld, however two of the 4 crystals have already been obtained by Golbez. His crystal however is still safe. Giott talked about however airship were strange machines in which the Underworld Empire might be interested in and as if we could use ours to assist them. Cid mentioned the Enterprise won't last long due to the high heat of this place so he is going back up to wrap the ship in silver meaning he is no longer in my party :( The King mentioned that the location of his crystal is behind his throne, but Yang sensed that someone might already be in the crystal room! Cecil and company checked it out and in fact some dolls called the Calbrena were plotting to take it for their own. Turns out they work for Golbez! Another interesting boss fight. At first i just killed the dolls separately (there were 6), then they combined into a giant doll! Then they would separately and i would go back to killing them one by one, then they would combine again! Weird battle indeed. After they were defeated they mentioned that Golbez already knows of this place then they vanished. However they exit brought Golbez's arrival! He said he now has all but the last dark crystal and commenced to destroy my party! Golbez is of course suppose to be all powerful and he demonstrated that by paralyzing my whole party but just before commenting on my pathetic attempt to attack him. He summoned a Shadow Dragon (which looks smexy btw) to obliterate my party members one by one. But when he got to Cecil a dragon appeared and destroyed Golbez's Shadow Dragon. Rydia is back!!!!!! She looks smexy as well <3. Cecil also was free from paralysis and now they have a fighting chance against Golbez. I used Titan with Rydia and Golbez fell. Hooray he is dead....... or so i think. Let's see what happens! Apparently Leviathan took Rydia to the land of summoned monsters in which she got older due to the time flow there. She also sacrificed her white magic skills(in which i don't remember her having) to strength her calling and black magic skills. The Queen of the Summoned Monsters Land inform her of the peril the world is facing so that is why she showed up. Yeah she is back in my party! As i approached Golbez fallen body, he dissipated however his hand remained and it took the crystal! Giott mentioned the last crystal is in a sealed cave however a key is needed to activate its access. But Giott was us to go to the Tower of Babil (not using the - or however they say Babil in this game) so i guess that is the next destination. --- *Heroic Palmer* they are not fat their big bone -ertyu |

I wonder why they changed the names of Ifrit and Ramuh to Jinn and Indra o.O Ok im in the Tower of Babil. I fought an egg XD. Ok i hate eggs now </3. Well eet some crazy doctor guy named Lugae. He was having a conversation with the Elemental Field of Fire Rubicant. Rubicant mentioned the named Elban and Lugae send him away. Now Dr. Lugae is claiming the the two powers powers (Golbez and Rubicant) are gone and now he is the most powerful. He sent his creation, Balnab to destroy us, however, its attacking him instead of us XD. XD XD XD. During the fight Lugae decided to operate Balnab manually, but he pressed the self-destruct button!! Lawls some brilliant doctor he is. Now he said its time for the REAL fight. Titan makes all bosses laughable. Its really unfair imo but as Lugae was defeated he mentioned destroying the dwarfs with his super cannon. He also said that Rubicant is already in the upper world with the Crystals! Two major events that need to be stopped are taking place at the same time! Time to get to work! Some dark imps were controlling the Super Cannon. When Cecil and others approached them it was battle time! After they lost the Imps sabotaged the controls and said the Super Cannon was going to fire at the Dwarf Castle no matter what. To save the dwarfs, Yang sacrficed his life </3. Cecil and others tried to stop him but he punched them out of the room and locked the door :( Another valuable party member gone *cries* Well time to stop Rubicant!!! As we were leaving Babil's Tower Golbez reappeared! The bridge to the tower started to fall apart due to the fact that Golbez placed it aflame. As Cecil and others were about to meet impending doom Cid flys by with his new and improved Enterprise. However Golbez was still hot on our tail with the Red Wings so Cid sacrificed himself so that we could get back to the surface. CIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STOPPPPPPPPP DYINNNNNNNGGGGGGG INNNNNNNNNNNNN THEEEEEEEEEEEEE GAMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cid was too sexy to die! Well its time for exploring. I found the town of Silvera. Everyone is
sized, toaded, or piggied. I even saw some dancing and they play
leapfrog XD. Mentioned something about a silver mine so i wanna check

Ok im in Elban which is a town not a person -_- Guess i see why Rubicant mentioned it before returning to the surface. As i arrived in Elbanan Castle i realized it was bare as bones. Well this cave is very weird. There are people in here! Im guessing they are from Elban Castle. I wonder why they are here..... Turns out Rubicant took the King and Queen of Elban and its town ninjas tried everything and their power to get them back. Their Prince however isn't giving up and is trying to access Babil's Tower as i speak. Let's see if i can't assist him. Found the Prince however he was fighting Rubicant! I found it extremely funny that Rubicant was giving Edge lessons during the fight and welcomed him to fight again. I thought villains were suppose to be merciless..... Anyways hooray new party member! Hopefully he won't perish like the rest...... Edge is awesome!!!!! He can steal, throws shurikens (if anything like FFIII they will do insane damage), dual-wield, and perform magic!!!!! I want him till the end of the game!!!!!!!! Ok im back in Babil Tower. Edge and others ended up meeting his parents
but Dr. Lugae turned them into monsters and he had to fight them!
During the fight i wonder should i even attack them? I did for awhile
but then they started talking about how they are now longer human and
how they were going to leave. Edge objected but they had already made
their choice. Rubicant appeared soon after. He is actually upset with Lugae had done to Edge's parents (i don't get Rubicant he is too compassionate for a villain). WTF??!?!? Rubicant healed my party before the battle. He actually wants us to see if we can match his powers. Well i don't know if he is drunk on his power or whether he wants to lose but here goes nothing! Strongest elemental fiend my ass! Valvalis was hardest than you! Anyway he mentioned something about weakest warriors coming together to be strong and he could see why Golbez had a hard time with us and vanished. I have no idea if he will come back or not but i don't care. Its crystal time! LOL at Chamberlain trying to help after there is nothing more to do. XD i never thought i would see the words okey dokey in a video game o.O As we approached the crystals, Cecil and company fell into a pitfall and are now in the underground of Babil Tower. We found an airship in which Edge christen the Falcon and now we once again have access to the underground. Went back to King Giott and he believes that Golbez is still trying to obtain the crystal from the sealed cave so he announced that his own daughter has the only way to get in. He gives Cecil the key which was his daughter's necklace and urged them to get the last dark crystal before Golbez. CID IS ALIVE!!!! THERE IS A GOD!!!!!!! Well now that Cid is back i can actually go to the Sealed Cave because the Falcon is about as bad as its name when it comes to usefullness. LOL Cid made Edge help built the new airship. They don't seem to like each other too much XD. I was in the town of Tomra and someone said ewwww your water is blue and i thought that was kind of funny since they live underground and they have lava as water. They also mentioned a Sylph cave and an entrance to the land of summoned monsters in the northwest so i'll check those out later after the sealed cave. Trap Doors can go to hell for all i can. I HATE AUTO-DEATH!!!! I got the crystal but i was confused. Absolutely nothing happened. No Golbez or his many servants. Luckily i knew something was going to happened when i left. A petty trap my ass Edge. EvilWall was easily one of the hardest bosses in this game by far. I thought i was going to kill everyone at once. However party member constantly is just as worst. I had to spam life pots that i barely had -_- I won though. They love auto-kill in this game. I hope i get a ribbon soon. WTH?!??!?! As i was leaving Golbez instructed Kain to return to the tower of Babil and take the crystal away from Cecil and he did! That bastard! I knew he couldn't be trusted. With all light and dark crystals in Golbez's possession, King Giott
fears the worst. He believes the only savor is now the big whale which
the Elder of Mysidia has been wishing for. However we are stuck in the
underground unless something is done to our ship. That is when Cid
comes in and suggest putting a drill on the front of the Falcon so we
can get back to the surface and go to Mysidia. Lawls at Edge helping
with the ship reconstruction again XD. During the rebuilding of the Falcon, Cid fainted! It seems he worked to the point of exhaustion and needs much rest. Fortunately, he finished the ship before such matters arose. Now i can get the help out of here. Lawls forgot to post this -_- --- *Heroic Palmer* they are not fat their big bone -ertyu |

The Cave of Summoned Monsters was brutal. Walking on certain parts of
the ground were brutal and some enemies abused Quake so i thought to
myself use float. Unfortunately i was too lazy to recast it multiple
times so i my pots got slaughtered. Luckily there was a town of sorts
there. Turns out i could fight the queen and king to get them as call
magic. The Queen kept healing herself so she was just asking for me to
use wall magic on her. After that the fight became extremely easy. She
would attack me then heal me next turn XD. Reminded me of Yuffie
fighting her father in Pandora's Tower (i don't remember if that was
the exact name but im using it anyway). The King was Leviathan!
Unfortunately this is another game where Levia isn't looking its best
and fortunately for me he wasn't that hard at all.In fact the queen,
Asura, was quite a bit harder imo. Hooray i have two new call magics. I
found a rat tail in town (lol FF1 job advancement item) so i need to
take that to Silvera so i can hoping get some adamant for the
blacksmith to make me a weapon (something else that came from FF1).

Ok i entered the underworld by using the newly drill-encrusted Falcon
and i went to the Adamant Grotto to get a piece of Adamant from a man
who collects tails. What he does with rat tails i have no idea but i
got my adamant and if this game is reminiscent of FF1 then the
blacksmith is going to craft the legendary Excalibur the ultimate holy
sword from it. Time to go back to the underworld to deliver it to him. I gave Kokkol the blacksmith the adamant ore and he surged with confidence and took my old legend sword and is beginning the process of making my smexy sword. Too bad he isn't done with it yet! I want it now! Well i guess i can find out what is in the Sylvan Cave while he is busy with my sex i mean sword. Well i hate this cave. First of all frogs that can use toad equals instant -_- It also doesnt help that this is the first game in which Molbor/Malboro actually uses Breath and it does size, piggy, toad, blind, and silence :( Well its not that bad but still im not going to enjoy it! WTF??!?!?! Yang is still alive! I have no idea how to awaken him so i went back to Fabul to talk to his wife. She gave me a frying pan so i guess i better go back and hit him with it with love from her! Oh yeah first FF game i've done 9999 damage with a party member <3. Cecil hit Yang in the head with the Frying Pan and he awoke clamoring to join our party. However the sylph felt strongly against it and insisted that he say in bed. Furthermore Rydia was able to gain the Sylphs power as a caller so yeah another summon. This game is starting to remind me of the Tales games and that isn't necessarily a bad thing <3. WTF NO! I got my first game over because of Odin! That was the cheapest
thing i've ever seen in a FF game ever! I really don't know if i can
beat him before his does his automatic game over attack. I'll keep

That is good to know. The first time i used Sylph it killed the enemies
and healed all my party members. Im glad to see its not as broken as i

Well i went back to Yang's wife and gave her back the frying pan. In
return she gave me a spoon?!?!??!?! I guess i better hold on to this
for later. I went back to the Sylph Cave to check on Yang but he still
isn't going anyway anytime soon it seems. I was wondering on how far
along Kokkol was on the Excalibur so i went back to his workshop. He
still isn't done after everything i've done. I guess i'll train or

Ok i went to Mysidia and the Elder insisted that i come assist in the
wish of the Big Whale. The wish worked! However the Big Whale is some
sort of airship that can go to the moon. With it i can go stop Kain and
Golbez from their ultimate goal. Before getting on the ship, i checked
on the Excalibur once more and it was finished! Apparently the rise of
the Big Whale triggered the completion of the sword <3. Well its

Met a guy named FuSoYa. He talked about the history of his people and
mentioned that someone named Zemus is controlling Golbez. Looks like
Golbez is just a small cheese compared to him. Apparently Zemus used
Golbez to get the crystal so he could activate the Giant Tower of Babil
to destroy Earth! FuSoYa also mentioned Kluya, Cecil's father. Yes with
FuSoYa i can reenter the Tower of Babil meaning he joined my party! I
wonder if i will ever get Edward or Yang back. Oh well he will do for
now. Back to the underworld. FuSoYa has a couple of new spells for me to try out <3. XD at what happenings when he cast a spell. Holy ****!!!! Meteo automatically does 9999 dmg. I know they won't let me keep such a broken character for a long time but if they do i have no problems with it at all. Oh noes. The Tower of Babil has already produced the Giant of Babil and its going around and wrecking up the place! Hooray the Dwarves are trying to destroy it! I hope they are successful! Sweet Yang and the Sylphs are helping as well but will it be enough? Wow its like everyone knows about this! Cid and a fleet of airship that im sure he created are assisting as well. Where the hell is Edward!?!?!? OMG Porom and Palom are alive and kicking as well. Even the Mysidian Elder is assisting. If Edward doesn't appear soon i will be pissed. YAY Edward is here as well. Sexy reunion of all my party members who haven't perished. Together we can do this! FuSoYa suggest that while the Giant is immobilized, we should get Cid to fly us into the core of the Giant of Babil and shut it down so that is what im doing now. XD when FuSoYa dies. He does something similar to Jynx when she faints. Rosa just learned White. So this is the game where it originated. I always though Mystic Quest had it first. That is good to know. OMFG! Dragon Machine almost kill my whole party before i even got the the save point. If that had happened i probably would have quit for a long time lol but luckily i survived! This place is pretty challenging. I hope i get some equips that might help me out, the excalibur isn't pulling its weight . Wow this was quite unexpected <sarcasm>. Milon, Kainazzo, Valvalis, and Rubicant are back once again due to Zemus. They can't be harder than the that D.Machine i just fought. Oh course Rubicant had to be nice and heal our hp and mp fully before the fight. Jackass. Anyway i was heavily disappointed. I wanted to fight them all at the same time. Surprisingly Milon was the hardest this time around mainly because Kainazzo didn't use his water attack, Rubicant glare and Fire 3 all were very weak, and Valvalis didn't use her old strategy at all. Sigh this game loves instant death attacks which was demonstrated by Globe 199 from the CPU -_-. I got a butt-load of experience however two people were dead :( Well hopefully we disabled the Giant Tower of Babil! Wow that was unexpected though i should have figured it out after FuSoYa revealed that Kluya had two children. Golbez is Cecil's brother! OMFG plot twist for the win. Golbez had came out exploding about how we ruined his plan, but FuSoYa used some of his power to awaken Golbez's true self. FuSoYa proclaimed Golbez's blood made it easy for Zemus to control him. Awww family reunion! Golbez and FuSoYa were after Zemus but then the place started to collapsed. As everyone but Cecil panicked about how to escape this place that bastard Kain appeared (j/k i love Kain most of the things he did weren't exactly his fault fortunately). *Wipes sweat from forehead* Boy i was really worried about going to the moon with only Kain, Edge, and Cecil. When Cecil told Rydia and Rosa to leave the party i was about to scream profanities at the top of my lungs. Luckily the two girls forced their way back into the party at the last second <3. LOL! It took me awhile to find out how to heal mp/hp in the Big Whale o.O I found the HumingWay Family. So they came from the moon huh? They should have stayed here too! Worst thing about the game easily. What the hell? I thought i was going to find Zemus but i ended up finding Cave Bahamut! So he is in this game. Can't wait to get him. Hope he isn't as difficult as Odin. OMG! I officially hate Bahamut. Luckily i had Kain to use jump right before MegaNuke. Everyone else died but Kain survived! Just attacked till the counter got to one, jumped, then attacked till one came up again. I love Dragoons and i love Kain. Now i have Bahamut. XD at what happens when you try to buy something without gp. They
should have done that in all FF games. Ok im pretty much in the last
dungeon. I might be able to beat this game tomorrow! I'll explore this

You can't be seriously! Although after i beat him i checked out a faq

This place is pretty tough. Fighting a Red Dragon and a Blue Dragon at
the same time is pure hell. Not to mention i just met the Tricker and i
should have figure he would do something to trick me hence his name -_- Also about the split path, not feeling it. I feel like i took the longer path and i hope i don't go too far that i don't get access back to it because i don't want to miss anything that could potentially help me beat the game easily. **** FatalEye. Easily the cheapest enemy in the game </3. So unfair on my pots and my mp. Shame on you Square! Lunar Dragons suck ***. I hate them so much. I refuse to use wall for a battle. I REFUSE!!!! Kain was the only survivor of that battle -_- OMFG! The Plague cheapest boss of all time. Its like a FatalEye but 10 times better! I have no idea how im going to beat it either. Well time to try again. Wow. The Wyvern wasn't that bad. At least his MegaNuke was no where near the power of Bahamut's. I got the Crystal Sword! Now Zemus doesn't stand a chance ( i hope). I finally got the White Lance. However i had to throw my Excalibur at The Plague! Oh well i don't need it anymore. I still haven't got an ultimate weapon for Rosa or Rydia so i really don't know how close i am to Zemus. That fight for the Masamune was brutal. Big Wave x2 did about 2K to each party member. Luckily Ogopogo didn't spam it otherwise it would have been Dark Cloud all over again. Well i arrived at Zemus but Golbez and FuSoYa were already fighting him! They started off with some decent spells but after Zemus commented on how this was only the beginning they combined their skills and summoned the power of W. Meteo which destroyed him! Born from Zemus's hatred Zeromus was born! Everyone but Golbez and FuSoYa was knocked out from Zeromus creation (im going to say it was an explosion i don't remember o.o) and they rushed to defeat him once more. They both casted Meteo separately on Zeromus but to their surprise it healed him! FuSoYa urged Golbez to use the crystal on him that why it would be possible to hit him. However they didn't get another turn to act because Zeromus used Meteo caused 9999 to each of them which of course caused them to swoon (hehe i always want to work that into a sentence). Edward, Yang, Porom, Palom, Cid, the Mysidia Elder, and various dwarves and mechanics wished on Moon so that Cecil and the rest could stop the threat of all mankind. Golbez gave Cecil a crystal right before Cecil charged Zeromus to avenge his brother. Well it seems its time for the final showdown. "The moon has just started to seek for its own light" Before the final battle all my allies Porom, Palom, Edward, Yang, Golbez, FuSoYa, and others (Mysidian Elder, etc) revived and fully healed all my allies. On my first attempt at Zeromus i threw the defend sword at him before using the crystal that Golbez gave me. Then he started off the battle with Big Bang which got Rydia and Edge at critical hp. In fact they died because the area in which the battle began drains hp and that is how they died -_-. Then Rosa died from a Nuke attack leaving just Cecil and Kain. I was hoping i could win with just Kain but before i could heal him he died for a Big Bang attack as well. It was just Cecil and Zeromus. At first i thought i could win because Zeromus has a pattern. First he uses Big Bang, then he uses Black Hole which protects him from being hit with magic so i figured after Big Bang i would heal with an elixir then during B.Hole i would attack. Hopefully that plan failed miserably when i accidently used an elixir on a died Edge :( I beat him the second time (took two tries just like Dark Cloud). He started off the battle with Big Bang of course but before i could heal everyone with Rosa, Rydia died from the drain effect that the battle field had. After that Edge kept throwing things, Kain kept jumping, Rosa kept healing and Cecil kept attacking with his Crystal Sword. At one point Zeromus used Meteo however Black Hole was in effect so it didn't work <3. Hooray i beat him! Overall i say Dark Cloud was harder. FF4 > FF3 > FF1 > FF2. The gameplay from FF3 was slightly better (music from FF3 is still my favorite period though) however the characters and story of FF4 edged it out to become my second favorite FF game right after FFX. This game was only 30 hrs and it only took me a week to beat (FF1, 2, and 3 took me about a week and a half or two to complete for some reason). I never felt obliged to play this game because i was honestly enjoying it. Would definitely play again. In fact i really hope i can get the GBA version for Christmas if im lucky so i can experience this game in a whole new way. I'll start Mystic Quest tomorrow.
