Well i was cruising along the canal when a whirlpool appeared and
sucked in our ship! Boss fight! Karlabos was pretty easy considering i
have dual-wield and its weak to bolt. However after the fight it
attempted to drag Syldra! Faris was pretty upset. Now to find out what
happens next. Turns out without wind and without Syldra the ship has no
way of moving and it ended up drifting into the Ship Graveyard. After i
get out of this place i will probably train a bit more then quit for
today. On a side note <3 FF5 music. Its rivaling MQ and FF3. I knew Faris was a girl! Apparently she pretend to be a guy to become a pirate. I still don't see why Galuf and Butz are infaturated with her. Anyways time to find a way out of the ship graveyard. Wow this is ****** up. Stella, Butz's mother and King Tycoon, Lenna and seemingly Faris's father appeared any some how got them in a trance of sorts, then a woman extracted their souls! Someone came for Galuf as well but fortunately for him he doesn't remember who she is. Turns out the woman is Siren. I didn't know Siren was that badass also first game appearance for her. I can't believe she is a boss this time around. Siren wanted to know why Galuf cared from them and he said they are my friends. Then Galuf smacked all of them across the back of the head (even the girls) and their souls returned to their bodies. Another wtf she can change undead at her will with unfortunately for her is a disadvantage. I cured hear with cure and blazed her with fire and she fell quite easily. Time to get out of this place! Well my power went out for about 3 hrs (which is coincidentally is the

Yeah i had a weird day. As soon as i was about to go to bed, which was
around 8:30 in the morning, my mom told me and my brother that we are
going shopping. Then my dad gave me and my two brothers 100 dollars
each. Later found out that money was for getting gifts from the family,
however, we could use some for ourselves. I ended up spending about 70
on myself (got some clothes i love clothes), my older brother got
clothes as well, and my other bro got Twilight Princess. So basically
half of the 300 was used on gifts. Then we when out to eat but i wasn't
hurry. We went to AppleBee's. Got a chicken finger plate and got it to
go. However the hostess only gave me half my change back (I gave her a
20, my meal was 9.62, and she gave me 5 dollars and a dime back in
return) Then we went to CVS to pick up my brother medicine and he lost
the keys to the car. Luckily we found them. Just got home about half an

I'm missing the hell out of this game so i will try my hardest to play
sometimes today. Luckily i restored my sleep cycle somewhat so i should

Started playing. After the ship graveyard i ended up in a town called
Carwen. Nothing was really going on in the town, however, a guy did
mention something about Hiryuus (which were mentioned in FF2 i guess
some of the FF games do connect in someway). Afterwards i found a woman
who mentioned that Torus, the next town im supose to be in, is south
from our currently location and is using the power of the Water
Crystal. However we can only get their by boat and without wind or
Syldra that is not possible. So now Butz says if we can't go by land or
sea we have to go by air. Im seeing myself meeting up with Cid real

Well i was on North Mountain and Lenna found her father's helmet.
However as soon as she picked it up she was hit by a poison arrow. Then
someone name Magisa appeared and mentioned that he/she/it was tracking
down the Hiryuu. Ok its a chick (what is up with all this butch female
characters Square likes making butch females and feminine guys what is
wrong with manly man and girly girls). Apparently she was trying to
fetch a Hiryuu horn so she could sell it for a high price but Lenna the
princess of Tycoon is worth a pretty penny as well (but she said she
was going to give it to her husband threesome maybe). Faris tried to save Leena but fell off the side of the mountain! However she gripped on before falling to her doom i assume. Then she threw a rope to make a path for Butz and Galuf and they rescued her. Now Magisa wants to fight us for Lenna. During the fight Magisa summoned her husband i believe, Forza, but it was still a pretty easy battle. Now im guessing im on the mountain to recruit the help of the Hiryuu so i can go to Worus (lol i put Torus before then again i could care less about town names). --- Look at this and forever know what greatness is: http://img9.echo.cx/img9/4370/265rv.png |

We all arrived to the next area to see the Dragon (Hiryuu) was severly
injured. However the Hiryuu plant that was needed to heal it was too
far off however to get it one would have to go through the poison
plants. Lenna attempted and was successful however after handing the
plant to Faris to give to the dragon she fell out. Apparently Hiryuus have restorative capabilities because it was able to heal Lenna right on the spot. Now i guess its in our control and we can go to Worus! Well Worus doesn't seem that bad however there must be some trouble brewing. I went into the castle and freed some prisoners just for fun <3. Then i checked out the basement only to end up getting my first game over </3. how the crunk do you have dual wielding so early in FFV? I thought it was impossible till you unlocked the ninja class.. Actually i have double grip with i figured to be dual wielding. I knew something was wrong. We just met the King and he is gun-ho on
using the Water Crystal to advance Worus into wealthy and power. He
thought about what he was doing (not for long though greedy bastard)
but then another meteor hit this time near Worus Tower. The King and
his soldiers went to investigate. I just notice the music in this castle sounds eerily close to music in SMRPG -_- Well i wish i had talked to a soldier in the castle before going into the basement. He warned me of Garkimasera. We I just equipped my thief with the escape ability and with a couple of Phoenix Downs i got the two things that were important in the basement: drag and Elf's Cape. I went to Worus Tower and the soldiers complaining that the peaceful monsters ended up becoming violent and stormed the tower and some warrior as well made his way in. Even the King was attacked by the Galura. Too bad <3. He wanted us to protect the crystal of course but probably for his own greed but it must be done nonetheless. The warrior who made his way into the tower knew Galuf! He told us to save the crystal of Fire and perished. The water crystal gave me the jobs of Red Mage, Time Mage, Summoner, Berseker, and Mystic Knight. There was another crystal shard however the tower sunk before i could find out a way to get it! Near death im sure my party was encounter by Syldra! Woot we are save! Well i went back to Worus Castle and the King now knows the danger of
abusing the power of the crystals. He knows that the same is happening
in Karnak so that is my next destination. First time to start using

Well at Castle Tycoon, i met up with the Chancellor who insisted that
well all spent the night. However he wanted Lenna to stay indefinitely
but she insisted that she must save the world and her dad. Later Lenna revealed to Faris that she is in fact her sister but Faris refused to believe it. Now after receiving gifts from the Chacellor in the castle im off to the Fire Crystal. I remember a soldier telling me that you could warp between meteors to get from Worus to where the fire crystal reigns so i went to the location of the Worus Meteor and sure enough im now in Karnak. Turns out Cid is the one who built the machine to amplify the crystal's power (first evil Cid?). However many tried to tell the Queen of the destruction that amplifying the crystal could bring, but instead considering the possiblility that they could be right, she instead bring a wall in front of the Ancient Library so that no one could reveal information that would detract her from what the crystal is accomplishing (whatever it is doing atm). When i went to the weapon shop to buy some new weapons, some guy came out and said that my party came out of the meteor and we are to blame for the monsters that came out of it and we were put in jail. Later some guy tried to break out of jail by using explosive gunpower but ended up blowing up a wall adjacent to our cell. Turns out it was Cid! He said he was to cause for the Worus, Tycoon, and Karnak crystals for shattering. He built his machine to restore the crystal powers to their former glory however his endeavors may have just caused the beginning of the end. Cid knew of what happened in Tycoon and Worus so he tried to save the Karnak crystal however he was placed in jail. The Minister of Karnak told Cid that the crystal has started to crack and they have disabled the machine, however it is still growing in power. Cid believes that the Steamboat is draining the crystals power and thinks he knows of a way to stop it and enlists our help. The Minister believes we are the cause of the werewolves that have been terrozing them of late and refuses our help. Dr. Cid knowing of how we are destined to save the world says if we don't help then he won't either. That instantly makes the Minister change his mind and now im guesing we are going for the Steamboat. I love how flames are guarding off all the treasure chests </3. Btw its Steamship not boat :( I really should pay more attention to dialogue. Anyways someone stole the queen! Well she is missing but i just assume someone took off with her. Lets see if im right. Just as Cid figured the ship was causing the fire crystal problems however if we destroy the engine then everything should be ok. I found Queen Karnak in front of the engine! However she was possessed
by an evil spirt which fought me! LiquiFlame is easily the hardest boss
so far. I wasn't expecting it to have an attack that powerful that
could hit everyone. Took me some time to recover from its attacks but
eventually i got it. The Queen told us that the being is trying to be
resurrected from the fire crystal so we need to get to it fast. Luckily
the crystal is in the Steamship so it shouldn't be too long till i find
it. As i arrived to the location of the crystal Lone Wolf, the prisoner i had released earlier, appeared before us. He knew of Galuf too. Before they could discuss things, a possessed soldier flicked on the amplification machine and teleported to safety, then all hell broke loose. Air ducts started to gravitate towards the crystal, one in which was right in front of Lone Wolf. He tried his best to hold on to it as we escaped. We tried to save him but the crystal caused many flame barriers and pit holes some in which we fell through. Then the crystal erupted and the room exploded (probably killing Lone Wolf). Then we had to espace the castle in 10 mins (first countdown in a FF game)! I had plenty of time to explore and find the many treasure of the castle before the destruction of Karnak Castle (in fact i had a minute and 19 seconds remaining). Got to play today <3. Went back to the Steamship and Cid blames himself for everything that happened at Karnak. Tried to talk to him in the Pub and he was very upset. Found out that he had a grandson named Mid however he is now missing somewhere in the Ancient Libraby. Time to find him! I got Ifrit! Love the way it looks like he came out of a book to fight you XD. Found Mid, however when i approached him two books flew towards my
party! Ended being a boss fight against a being named Byblos. He was
interesting to me because first he had magic hammer (which im guessing
is an enemy skill). Secondly it had a skill called protect that allow
it to reduce physical damage greatly (which made the battle longer than
expected) Thirdly he had some pretty powerful moves and since no one in
my party had magic this battle was pretty long (until i used a flame
scroll :D) I talked to Mid and he was oblivious to everything that just happened! Turns out he was just down there reading a book o.o Anyways he found out a way to fix up the Steamship and he revealed that he was Cid's grandson. However we told him about how Cid had become depressed due to what happened to Karnak. Mid believed us to be lying and rushed off to Karnak to talk to his grandfather. I talk to Cid and then he was still upset but then Mid came in and basically attempted to beat him up (at least that is what it looked like to me). Mid show Cid the book and Cid believes he can fix up the Steamship. Now I seemingly have a new vehicle. Time for the Earth Crystal! While the Steamship was being fixed, Galuf's memories started to
return. He remembers that he is not of this world and that he came to
Earth from a meteor 30 years ago and sealed up the ultimate evil
ExDeath. I found Crescent Island and as soon as I arrived an earthquake created a whirlpool that swallowed up the Steamship! So now im was shipless. However people in Crescent revealed that the forest in the south maybe contain black chocobos. I checked it out and in fact a black chocobo existed there. Butz jumped on it and it flew! When it descended, Faris checked it out and it spit out 2 crystal shards! I got the jobs of Bard and Hunter and now i can use the black chocobo to travel! I went back to the Ancient Library and Mid and Cid said they could easily make another Steamship. They also revealed that King Tycoon is quite alive and is in the desert. Apparently he is just floating about the shifting sands. I guess i might end up fighting him. Well I entered the Quicksand Desert to find that it was virtually
impassable. Cid and Mid came and revealed that if they summoned the
Sandworm defeating it might create a path to get to the King of Tycoon.
They did, i fought it and won. Long fight though because physical
damage didn't do much and Cid and Mid said not to use magic. Well guess
ill be on my way now! There was a door leading somewhere in the Quicksand Desert however it was locked so i just leave. Found a small town the was the ancient ruins that were discussed earlier in the game, however, King Tycoon was there! We chasing him around until he lead up into a trap. Time to track him now yet again. Inside the ruins i found a lever that somehow created a pitfall in the black chocobo forest (which Cid and Mid were in because they were returning the black chocobo to fulfill their promise to Butz). We ended up finding the Steamship however it was attached to yet another ship except this one had propellers (FF4 had something very similar to all of this). After Cid was messing with the ship it started to fly, however it was short-lived because a boss named Crayclaw was pulling us down! Short boss fight though because Doom Axe yielding Galuf killed it in one strike due to the axe's effect. Well after the boss encounter Cid said the new ship was damaged slightly but he fixed it up with parts from the Steamship. After Cid and Mid left us with the airship they were off to find out more about the Earth Crystal location. I went towards the ancient ruins with my new ship and something surfaced from the desert! Well i wonder where it went..... Found the town of Istory and found out that Ramuh dwells within the forest east of it. I went, i saw, i conquered. Howevr Ifrit wanted to fight Ramuh which i thought was hilarious. I can't access the waterfall so i really can't do anything else here. Found the town of Lix which happened to be the town Butz came from. I went to the inn and he went to pay respects to his father but Faris came to see how he was doing. She has never had a father before so she was wondering what it was like. I also checked out Butz's old house in which a bard no inhabits. I found a music box that had Butz thinking of his parents once more. After listening to it the bard taught me a new song. With nothing else to do in this town i left. Found out where i was suppose to go. I didn't know that the airship
could go back underground. Anyway Cid and MId saw the rising city
through a telescope and believe it holds the Earth Crystal. However it
is unreachable with our airship unless we can get some adamantium to
strengthen it so we were off to the Tycoon Meteor because somehow Galuf
remembered that they may be some there. After retrieving the adamantium a boss attacked us. It wasn't that bad. Really enjoying the FF5 playthrough. It's my favorite FF game. All sorts of great music and stuff is up ahead, too. --- Sushi, Kamikaze, Fujiyama, Nippon-Ichi... "i love you and aiya" - An IM from Richie259. Awww. |

Well the Lonka Ruins took some getting used to. I wander around for
about an hour because i didn't know where to go. Turns out i didn't
realize that i could go through a certain door -_- Anyways on my way to find King Tycoon i met up with another super creature, the Hydra. That thing is merciless. First it reflects status effects (owned my team with the Doom Axe and the Ancient Sword). Second, it has two attacks that it does quite often that hits the entire party for 200-300 dmg (and i don't have that much hp). Third it has tons of hp </3. It does give a nice job point bonus but i would rather get 5 from skull eaters than 4 from a hydra. Also tons of enemy skills in this place. White Wind, Aero 2 (had already though), blowfish, L4 Quarter, just to name a few. Right now im fighting Archaeavis, a creature that is seemingly blocking the Earth Crystal. Mr. King of Tycoon wanted me to defeat it however when i did it revived itself (lol auto-life) The King believes the power of the crystal caused its resurrection. Time to finish it off once more! That *****. It had an attack similar to an elemental fiend in FF4. It acts as White Wind in FF3j in which it leaves your hp in single digits but this version hit everyone </3. Then it tried to use thunder which hits everyone for about 200-250 dmg </3. Luckily i healed up before thunder hit or that would have been a game over. After defeating Archaeavis, the King pushed us out of the way and went straight to the Earth Crystal room. Time to see what he is planning.\ Well it turns out that King Tycoon is also being controlled (like the Queen of Karnak) and Butz and Galuf wanted to defeat him but Lenna and Faris wouldn't allow it. The King told the 4 that they would rest in piece, then suddenly, a meteor fell from the sky and hit hard near the current location and knocked Galuf, Butz, Lenna, and Faris out. The King however was still standing until the girl that came for Galuf when Siren was trying to steal the souls of Butz, Lenna, and Faris appeared and knocked out the King. Galuf seeing his granddaugther Cara forced him to trigger something inside of him that restored his memory! Now he is back to normal it seems. Also the King has regain his consciousness and saw that Lenna was okay and found out his long lost daughter Sarisa (Faris) is still alive and well. After that the Earth crystal burst caused the greatest evil known to be to leak out into the world! Holy **** that was awesome. Exdeath used the crystal shards to attack Butz and he uttered out the word ****. Totally unexpected and cool at the same time <3. Then he told Galuf that crystals have shattered next is your world! Now i wonder if he means Earth or Galuf's planet. Only one way to find out! The King said there is still something we (Butz, Lenna, and Faris) can do before this world is sucked into the void. Then he attempts to gain the Light of Earth but so far its not working and his body is getting punished. In his last attempt the four crystal shards surround him and they united and he pushed them into the sky. As soon as they hit the floor, so did he. The King of Tycoon is dead. His last words were for Faris and Lenna to unite their powers and for Butz to take care of them. After all that the Lonka Ruins then collapsed with explosions. The party of Galuf, Cara, Lenna, Faris, and Butz barely made it out alive. Galuf then said that he and Cara must be off. He talked about how the four worlds of dawn borrowing the crystals power to seal Exdeath but then 30 years later each of them came back on meteors because they realize something was wrong. Wow I never encounter that error before. Appeared i typed too much in one post so here is the rest: Galuf said that one of the warriors that helped to seal Exdeath said that they should have taken him back to their world however that obviously didn't happen </3. Well now Galuf is gone but will i get him back? Of course otherwise the legendary scene would never take place! Well Butz, Faris, and Lenna basically agreed that Galuf is their friend and he needs help plus Lenna and Faris want to avenge their father so they all have no choice but to go to Galuf's world. Well i went to the Tycoon Meteor and the black chocobo was there!
Apparently Cid and Mid were doing something. They said the adamantium
was glowing so they took it back where it belonged. However before they
could put it back, it got stuck on the warp inside the meteor. Then
everyone came up with the consensus that the adamantium might help them
to get to Galuf's world. Cid knows that that little piece of adamantium
isn't enough. He believes that the power of the three other meteors is
needed so that is my next definite. First meteor was the Worus Meteor, and Cid and Mid promptly went inside and did what they had to do, but after they leave a bomb was about to attacked them. Turns out it was 6 bombs named Purobolos and as long as they had mp they kept themselves alive with Life 2. Like if i killed 5 of them and one remained but it still had mp left, it would revive the other 5 </3. Luckily they didn't have much mp so after awhile they all perished. Karnak meteor is next. At the Karnak meteor Cid and Mid took longer than usual to do what they needed to do to get us to Galuf's world so Butz, Lenna, and Faris when in and Cid and Mid were trapped in some sort of barrier. We went to go save them but the barriers that were surrounding Cid and Mid surrounded us. Another meteor boss fight this time with a Manticore. It was pretty simple though. X-fight + Ninja class = easy battles. Next is the newly discovered meteor at the Quicksand Desert. In this meteor monsters were present so Cid and Mid refused to go in until we cleaned them out. The teleporter in this meteor was covered with a green aura and when i approached it i got into a boss fight with Titan. Titan wasn't that bad due to X-fight once again but he tried to take my party out with Earth Shaker. Now time to go where the energies of the meteor are gathering. Lenna really left nothing behind due to the passing of Kng Tycoon. Faris left her men and Butz left Boco. Time for their new journey. We arrived in Galuf's world to find we couldn't go much anywhere. I killed an enemy, it gave us a tent and we used the tent to rest (i found that to be funny lol). While Butz was sleeping Faris asked Lenna why she risked her life to save the Hiryuu we found earlier in the game. She said it reminded she of their mother (Hiryuu= Lenna's and Faris's mother?). Then suddenly an enemy named Abductor abducted Lenna and Faris then came back to fight Butz. After Butz defeated it he opened a treasure chest to discover it was a gas trap! Now reunited, Faris and company are now all unconscious. Zomg im in Exdeath's castle. Exdeath's henchman revealed that Galuf is at Big Bridge so im guessing Exdeath is going to try and dispose of him. He mentioned something about a big mirror ooooo scary...... Actually the mirror was pretty cool. I was things like that existed in real life. OMG Gilgamesh!!!!!! *Faints* Apparently ExDeath feared what Galuf was planning so he basically held Butz, Faris, and Lenna hostage. So much profanity in this game lol. Well Galuf is taking Cara Hiryuu to come and save us! Well i got Galuf to where Butz and the others were held but Gilgamesh tried to fight him. Wow i guess Gilgamesh has always been an evasive bastard. I couldn't even finish him off because he ran like a *****. Why does everyone like him again? Oh well. Time to get my party members back! Well the Big Bridge does have awesome music i'll give it that.
Gilgamesh on the other hand </3. Stop running you bastard. At least
he is smart. During the fight he realized that he was out-numbered and
cast haste, shell, and protect on himself and started to use the jump
command. Then he had some "urgent" business to attend to so he left
</3. Kind of the most challenging battle so far but it was still
meh. Now i wonder what awaits me. As we were leaving the Big Bridge, we met up with Cara, however Exdeath's castle was surrounded by a barrier, and the barrier sent us flying. Turns out we were flung out into the continent of Grociana a place where ferocious beasts dwell. How fortunate for us </3. Found the town of Rugor. Finally some better equips <3. Went into the pub and it had no dancers this time around so i danced. Butz is like the worst dancer evar. However he wasn't bad enough to have a male admirer that gave him 100 gil :D. Afterwards i went to the inn and since Rugor barely has visitors the stay was on the house. During that time Galuf ended up in the pub and Butz discovered him because he couldn't sleep. I was wondering if Galuf would have been able to stop Exdeath if Butz and others hadn't come to his world. The conversation they had pretty much cleared that up. If they hadn't come Galuf wouldn't cease to be due to the barrier. After all that i left the town to go to the Sealed Castle of Kuzar. I should have heeded the words of that old lady. I went up against a shield dragon and got my ass kicked, mainly by myself (stupid slumber sword and doom axe), so im guessing i shouldn't be here. I don't care im going to kill that son of a *****! Well that thing was too hard so i just quit </3. I found a moogle though! First time for them i believe also first game to have a Mug type of an ability <3. When i approached the moogle it ran and fell into a traphole. Awwww they have an enemy called MoogleEater </3. After finding the moogle we saw it was being cornered by a undead being. When approached it ended up being a boss fight. Tyrannosaur undead skeleton! With just mastering double-handed with the ninja class and combining it with Magic Knight and Fire 2 this fight was really really short. However it did managed to do 4,000+ dmg to one of my party members :(. Well now i need to find where this moogle went. Found the little bugger. Took awhile because i didn't pay attention to where it was going after it left the underground cave </3. I ended up finding the moogle we rescue and it led up to some treasure. Now im in a moogle suit (FFX-2 anyone) and i guess im going to explore the town a bit more. Talked to the moogle we rescued again and using telepathy it contacted a moogle that Cara knew of and told her of our location. However it is a far trip and Galuf's Hiryuu (i think its his) cannot fly. But somehow it gathered up the strength to do what it had to do for Cara. After the moogles demonstrated what they meant by the "nose", Cara instantly knew where to find us. Then she insisted that we returned to the castle where Galuf is the King! Well he could have told us that the bastard! I'm glad he di.... um oh i mean Galuf sucks. He gets cool points for being known as the King of Bal though that is so badass imo. Oh Exdeath's castle is impenetrable and Galuf's army is seemingly no match for his. So Cara now becomes Princess Cara. Speaking of Cara just talked to her and she said that the Hiryuu dying because it wanted to save us but it was flying while injured, a deadly mistake. However we might be about to save it if we go into the Valley of the Hiryuu a place in which no one has returned (i hate when they say things like that in rpgs if no one has returned from a place how come you and your party magically can </3). Hooray, you met Gilgamesh! I also liked the world map music in the second world better than in the first. I don't remember what order other stuff happens in the second world though, because when I hit it I was enjoying it so much, I just played straight through in no time. --- Sushi, Kamikaze, Fujiyama, Nippon-Ichi...
