are a bit more challenging and the 4th case in 2 is the best case in

BvC = x(1 - y) / (x(1 - y) + y(1 - x), where x = AvB and y = AvC, for extrapolation Then, for each character that has appeared in multiple years, create a "virtual match" where the character from one year gets 50% on him/herself from the next year. Drop matches where something fishy happened (e.g. massive SFF, à la Link-Ganondorf) Find strengths for all characters for all years to minimize the total error in the predicted match results versus the actual match results, summed over all matches and virtual matches (minus the dropped matches, of course) --- If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Then try to find someone whose life has given them vodka. |

name, especially to you? It was one of those decisions The SEP didn't think all the way through. I had just failed my math course, which, since I'm now paying for it, it actually matters. And why did I fail it? I usually found myself browsing Board 8 instead of paying attention. >_> Anyway, I figured that if I eliminate all chances of getting to B8, I wouldn't have a distraction anymore. Case 5 was tougher/more annoying because there was a lot of trial/error
in that case. PW2's difficulty stems from the fact that the cases are
more well crafted and clever. The answers are always there, but you do
need to think to find them. Case 4 in PW2 is easily better than Case 5
