So, should I come out of the closet yet?
Izzyzy | Posted 10/25/2006 4:18:12 PM | message detail | #001 |
Ok, I think things have gotten slightly out of hand. My roommate takes me completely for granted, leaving piles f dirty dishes around, and then complaining that I haven't done them for him. Householdy things of that nature. So, I decided to teach him a lesson...sort of. I left a note on my bedroom door, like I always do when I go out, just to be courteous, stating "Later, Andy. Maybe i'll come back someday." Then...I got in the closet. Literally. I've got a quilt layed out on the floor of the closet to make it a little more comfortable, and I store things that I use for entertainment in the pockets of one of the jackets hanging above me. Plus, I've got my laptop and wi-fi internet. Contact in a Nintendo DS keeps me entertained, as does Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Abridged Series on a video iPod. So...yeah. I've been in here for 36 or 37 hours now. I sprint to the bathroom whenever he goes out for a few minutes, and I survive nutritionally on bottles of water I grabbed from our fridge. So, since he doesn't know i'm home, he doesn't bother closing his door or hushing his voice when he's on the phone. He has some...interesting conversations. Notably, I've learned that he's not worried i'm missing for my safety - rather, he's worried I won't be here to pay my half of the monthly rent. Think i've tormented him enough? (If at ALL, from what it sounds like.) So, is it time for me to come out of the closet and "come home" yet? [P.S. Yes, I realize what the topic title implies. Thank you.] --- {[::[OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL SOMETHING-OR-OTHER]::]} 2.8 GHz DualCore CPU -- 2GB RAM -- 360 GB HDD -- 256MB Geforce 7800GTX |

I grabbed some corn chips last night when he took the trash out. Besides that - just water for me. Normally, i'd only bother to stay in hiding when he's HOME. Lucky me! He's been staying home from school and work because he's not feeling well, and I don't think he's gonna be going in tomorrow, either. I hear he's going out to dinner with his boyfriend tonight, though. So, i'll get some "time off" then, at least. Hopefully they're going to eat fairly early. ...
