85 - Tom Bombadil Tombolo is one of the few board vets that I just don't know very well. most of the old crew I've either gotten to know or they're just gone - Tombolo's the only one that I just don't know much about (and probably vice versa). when I think Tom, I think "japanophile". I know he loves anime and everything relating to anime. I personally don't like anime at all, so I just don't have much in common with Tom. Tombolo's always nice to others (well, 'cept Turtle, but he doesn't count) and is one of the few vets who doesn't wax nostalgic about the old days all the time. I'd have a hard time finding somebody that doesn't like Tom, myself included. --- xyzzy |

one more before it's time for me to leave.. 84 - Caelus board 8's resident drunk. Caelus used to do all kinds of fun lotteries and other board games, but lately it seems his social life is winning out. either that or he found a forum with a lot more drunk people. (that'd be an awesome forum to read.) Caelus occasionally shows up, comes up with a contest or something and holds onto it for about a week before disappearing again. damn shame, I remember people loving your complex lottery. the other thing about Caelus that sticks in my mind was him freaking out over future's create a character contest. serious drama right there. for some reason, Caelus drunk posting is funnier than everyone else's, just because it happens so often. now we just need Caelus to post more so we can see it happen every day. --- xyzzy |

83 - RX7InfinitiIII I seriously considered bumping Rex about 500 spots thanks to the Tim Allen WWYD challenge, easily a candidate for topic of the year. when Josh drops his ass on a DDR pad, I might seriously die. I've been waiting all day to come home and look at those pictures. damn you, work !! RX7.. I don't know what to say about him. he seems to get along with every single person on the board. I don't know if there's anyone that dislikes him. he's an alt whore and can write in leetspeak better than anyone - two qualities of the ultimate GameFAQs geek! obviously his thing right now is the WWYD tournament, where he's somehow convinced people to give him 10 bucks, sit there flooding a secret board for hours and stop posting on board 8. I would never do most of the WWYD things, not for any real reason other than it being a waste of time and effort... but damn, it's fun watching others do it. 82 - Wanglicious Wang's trademark thing is thinking up something to write about, writing a rant / essay and bumping it for a couple of weeks. this makes him seem smarter than he really is! I always know he's about when there's four or five Wang topics on the first page. nah, Wang's a smart kid. he likes a bunch o' weird crap, from every kind of cartoon porn around to obscure games no one's ever heard of. he seems to dabble in just about everything and is usually good in a debate. he's the only person I've seen be able to take on Shake in that whole lolicon thing and come out unscathed. (course, I haven't read one of those topics in months so this could have changed.) he's also seems knowledgable with hardware, making him one of the few people worth listening to when it comes to the PS3. my favourite thing about Wang though? he's like 5'2. small Wang! ha ha I feel so 13 --- iddqd "MY SLEEPING PATTERNS ARE SHOT THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR FANFICTION" -windmage |

81 - chocoboslayer the only board 8er to successfully infiltrate POTD. choco's the only dude I've ever known to be considered a regular of both boards. I post there occasionally and people are all like 'wtf you're on the wrong board'. not choco, though! he brings all the board 8 traditions over there- contests, lotteries, who knows what else and they play along. on board 8, choco runs (or ran) the lottery, which seemed very successful. a whole lot of 500 topics resulted out of that and there was a lot of competition over it. choco and I had one night where we went back and forth in Holy Excalibur's board 8 ladder trying to get the highest Tetris score. he dropped like 220,000 on NES Tetris and I spent a good hour trying to beat him. I finally got 230,000 and went to bed only to find out he came back and beat my score while I was asleep. I still haven't forgiven him for besting me in Tetris. I consider myself pretty good at Tetris! I haven't seen choco lately. is he back on POTD again?
