59 - neonreaper someone older than me?! neon and I get along because we're two of the oldest people on the board. we can talk about crap that happened in the 80's and no one else has any clue.. but us. it's kind of hard to explain, but there's a generation gap between people like neon and I and the kids in college. it's small, but it's definitely there. I grew up watching He-Man and Ghostbusters. I've never seen an episode of DBZ or Pokemon in my life. when people talk about "the old days", I get totally lost because that's not old to me at all. (why am I here?) it's nice to be able to connect with someone else who had the same childhood experiences as you. anyway, back to neon. neon's a funny dude, when he gets talking about girls he never fails to crack me up. drunk stories with neon are awesome. he also loves going against the tide. when board 8 gets too Nintendo for his tastes, he'll make a topic praising Sony. if some game is getting too much love, he's got no problem giving it a 1. he's pretty technologically keen and takes a liking to fancy stuff like HD. he's a big Red Sox fan too from what I've gathered. I love neon. Since I came back some months ago (Post-Kos) he
immediately replaced Torey Luvullo as the 'observer'. Where you,
tranny, often give your opinion by making a mellow sarcastic comment
resembling what you expect other people will post, neon actually sums
up in five words what takes most people 5 paragraphs to convey. He's
one of my favorite guys currently on the boards. Also the only one (And
AT)I'll always read when he makes a topic. As you can read above, I'm not exactly succinct either. |

Personally, I blame taking care of 40 screaming kiddies and being in
China the last month for me not posting. (*Tackles wall and is bounced
off due to padding*) And you're DEAD wang. <_< When I get back, the resulting wall of text will make the Kool-aid man cry like Napoleon during Chrismas in Russia. This list is crazy, the fact that I'm on it is is crazier. |

That generation gap thing you were talking about is interesting,
tranny, because I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle of it. I
definitely grew up watching He-Man and Ghostbusters...but I also did
watch Pokemon and Sailor Moon, when I was 12 or 13. Hooray for bridging

57 - gotspork WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO YOU board 8's catgirl. people used to think we were the same person because we type kind of similar. (I think she even made a "transpork" account at one point but was afraid to use it.) spork just disappeared about three months ago and I haven't seen her since. I heard someone say that she was having knee surgery or something..? either way, I miss her. spork was always fun. she's a big fan of shooters and old action games and doesn't like RPGs at all. and her boyfriend's the lead singer in a band that covers old 80's tv theme songs. totally awesome. I used to love starting ATTN: gotspork fads at 2am. those were fun. Mega Mana, raytan and I would always have fun with those. I'm pretty sure she'd be much higher if she didn't vanish into thin air. Don't hate on GIJoe! I had quite the collection of their action figures! And at one point, I think I had nearly every
Transformers action figure. My mom threw them all away when we moved

57 - XxSoulxX Soul and I are pretty much opposites, but we still like each other. he likes wrestling and N64, I like basketball and NES. he's a pretty big Fox fanboy and seems to love just about anything Nintendo does. I generally just play RPGs. since I don't like anything that he does, I don't really know what to write about him. my first thought is the horrible, horrible rap we did in the rap battle. UH OH! SOUL IS RAPPING! SOUL IS RAPPING AGAIN! good god, that was awful. when I saw that, I'm pretty sure my entire workplace turned around and looked at me, wondering what the hell I was laughing at. Soul's awesome like that. I don't know anything at all about him, yet he's completely likable. he doesn't really talk about his personal life or things that happen to him on the board, so I never know what he's really like.
