"Mastermage's hobby on the board is making a topic that looks
serious but is actually a joke. he writes these huge posts about how he
wants a sex change or how the PSP is superior to the DS or how a friend
of his got run over in a school parking lot or whatever.. and there's
always a couple of people willing to believe him. they're enjoyable
when the entire board knows they're jokes and plays along. there's
always a couple of new kids who get burned when that happens." This all stems from the fact that he was seduced by GenuineFemalePoster. 53 - RPGGamer0 wtf another rpg RPG has the worst name ever. not only is it the most generic name possible, he doesn't even like RPGs! what the hell were you doing when you picked a name man RPG does the good deed of reminding me that I disagree vehemently with board 8's musical taste every day. thanks, RPG! RPG and I spent a lot of time about a year or so ago just chatting on the boards. he also abandoned a user contest in the last round after making me vote in it for like three months. thanks, RPG! he reminds me of late 2k5, probably because he was the most active then. these days I just don't see him all that much. when I do, it usually involves him asking to have sex with me. 52 - SemiFinal vs Belarus Semi is a vet from OUR THE 2K3 who hates everything. this isn't actually true, but it sure seems that way sometimes. even when Semi and I agree (only on Tuesdays does this happen), we still manage to disagree as to why we agree. the weird thing about Semi and I disagreeing on everything is that he does the same thing with Leonhart or Heroic Mario.. and I don't agree with them either. Semi is one of the few people that I enjoy arguing with on the board. his writing style is maybe my favourite on the board and he can always manage to make me laugh. we usually argue over obscure RPGs no one cares about like Suikoden or Shadow Hearts. only on Tuesdays does this happen Weird coincidence: Sophomore year, my Trig teacher (who was in his last year, a bit crazy, and generally awesome), told us he went to school only on Tuesdays. He brought it up regularly, along with Frankie, who was an entity that lives behind the chalk board (who he occasionally would talk to). 51 - _Harmonica_ I group Harmonica in along with Josh and Kleenex, probably because of that silly fodder contest. 'monica started out here as a guy who ran a ton of contests and hyped KH2 seven times a day. he ran every contest you could think of, from user contests to video game music contests to gimmick contests. it's a year later, the occasional 'monica contest pops up and KH2 still isn't out in Europe. it's like nothing has changed.. except he just isn't around as much. he's a bigtime alt whore who's cool to chat with about site happenings. he also loves Square games, Gilgamesh, the Midgar Zolom and... 50 - Repus Yortsed a board hunter & MBHer. Repus is a big Castlevania fan. Repus was right in the middle of the huge Phoenix Wright craze and gave away a game to Bokonon_Lives after a neverending amount of controversy. it's fun to watch what greed does to people on an internet message board. I remember DSRage flipping the hell out cause someone voted against him in an internet contest... good stuff. Repus has done a lot of things all over the site. I find him at CE, MBH, zillions of dead boards and occasionally DA. he ran a treasure chest board hunting game for a while until he got bored with the whole thing. he has (or had) a good hundred alts that he used on a regular basis. I guess you could call Repus a "GameFAQs whore". Repus's main problem is that he gets annoyed too easily. I suppose you could call it "taking the internet too seriously", but it's different than that. I think Repus expects a certain level of intelligence from GF and when he sees something he finds stupid, he makes sure to let everyone know about his frustration. he also has the tendency to absolutely flip out if something goes wrong. when he was put in purgatory a couple of months ago after not being on the site for three weeks, he absolutely freaked out and purposely went to get himself axed. it took him about three days before he calmed down. I often want to tell him "the internet is for having fun. if you're not having fun on it, get off for a while. there's no reason to rant and rave about how stupid everything is." (plus, you hang out on MBH, man! what do you expect!) these days Repus is more of a "boardwalker", someone who tries to find interesting glitches on the message boards. I don't really see him too often on board 8 (mostly 'cause he just doesn't care about the contest too much) but I know that he's always around. Repus is a helpful guy who knows the inner workings of this site better than most people. 49 - Brakmaster this guy grows on me every day. about two months ago, Brak was one of those names that I saw a bunch but could never put a personality to. lately I see him a ton more and he's just fun. he plays along with oli in the random picture topics and is getting into photoshop. (photoshopping my cookie picture is the way to affection!) he likes a nice variety of things, from Japanese rhythm games (DAMN YOU READY STEADY GO ON NORMAL) to underground punk to who knows what else. he's in touch with gaming news and lets me know when things are out (LIKE LODE RUNNER FOR DS OH MY GOD). the more I see of Brak, the higher he moves up my list. --- iddqd "MY SLEEPING PATTERNS ARE SHOT THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR FANFICTION" -windmage |
