13 - Explicit Content one of my first board 8 friends. EC is best known for, uh, talking about his weewee all the time. most EC topics start off okay for a post or two and then devolve into "um no like ur wenr". that's a typical EC topic. stupid stuff like that is funny, but only occasionally. I'll dip down to EC levels on occasion and have fun doing so. with EC though, he does it so often that it's how we usually converse. anytime you see Sess and EC in the same topic, you just know you're going to be losing brain cells by post ten. usually, it's more like post three. what I love about EC is when he talks like a normal person. this is usually only done in the stats topic, but EC does indeed post like a regular person in there and is a respectable, intelligent person when he does so. he also will do this in any serious topics on the board. that EC is one of my absolute favourite people on the boards. he's a blast to talk to on AIM and posts some of the funniest stuff on the board when he's just chatting like a regular person. I could see EC and I hanging out and having a blast together. he's that awesome. EC's a big Streets of Rage 2 and Prince of Persia fan. he also loves Dante, Xenosaga and FF8. (Xenosaga 3 tomorrow! Gamestop left a message on my voicemail today - ECKS NO SAGA 3 IS IN STOCK.) as I said before, EC's Tim Allen picture absolutely killed me yesterday. I couldn't breathe for like two minutes because of that pose. I don't know a damn thing about Aeon personally. I don't have a clue
as to what games he's into or if he's in school or what. for some
reason, I seem to recall that he likes Magus, probably because he
picked him to win it all in 2k3 when he had that perfect first round.
(or so I'm told, I wasn't around.) Allow me to enlighten you! I am an astrophysicist (bolded for xtremeness) currently mired in equal parts grad school applications and alcohol. 12 - Eggplant Lord my first board 8 friend. I knew Eggs on the Shadow Hearts boards before I did board 8, so when I came here I was like "hey, I knew that guy." Eggs is also the first board 8er - no, the first person on GameFAQs - that I talked to on AIM. back when I was completely unknown, the only person I really knew was Eggplant Lord and I spent a good amount of time talking to him. but that's not the only reason I like him. Eggs is a really smart kid whose gaming taste agrees with mine. Shadow Hearts (especially the first one), Xenosaga, even Phoenix Wright to an extent.. I rarely disagree with him on matters of taste. his two current awaited games are Okami and FF5A. I might have to check out Okami, I've yet to see so much as a screenshot from it but it sounds interesting. I'm not even interested in seeing screens, I just like hearing it's good and checking it out for myself. Eggplant Lord is a virtual unknown on board 8 these days, which is really weird. he was pretty well known a year and a half ago. Blue Suede Goo is one piece of clay I would not mind
having a nice chicken parmesan with, making him pay the bill, then
going back to my place to... I dunno, watch some Simple Life and eat

*materializes* I suppose it is a bit dishonest to read these without saying anything. I'm not that good of a user to avoid these topics. You know, you were the first board 8er I spoke to on AIM as well. Though I'm still not convinced of the order of this ranking. I somehow doubt that you hold Aeon or EC in a lower regard than myself >_> Anyway, I still say you overstate my popularity at that time, and in any case, I am frequently mistaken for someone's alt. The usual case is with GrapefruitKing, and there was a time when some people were convinced I was Princess Anri. I should get a new, better-sounding account. I also foreshadow users' bouts of popularity, it would appear. I was the first person to mention Metool and make a "Metool Appreciation Topic," though it failed horribly because everyone ignored me. 11 - KleenexTissue50 Kleenex was instantly my favourite new user to emerge from last summer's contest. I originally got to know Kleenex because he likes RPGs. a lot of them. okay, all of them. I think RPGs + a few random Nintendo games are about all Kleenex plays. oh, and Metal Gear Solid now. other than that, he's all RPG all the time. Secret of Mana, Xenogears, FF5, he loves them all. hell, he even wrote his own and it was damn fun. strangely, we both call RPGs our favourite genre but we never seem to agree on anything. Kleenex "broke out" when he won that fodder contest last year, beating Josh in the finals. he's maintained some strange internet rivalry with Josh since. that thing was successful because both he and Josh became pretty popular users throughout. once Kleenex got acclimated to board 8, he started running a lot of contests. his most successful one was his FF music contest, which is getting a version 2 as we speak. he also ran a user gauntlet thing that was pretty successful for the first couple of incarnations. Kleenex has no reliable internet at home, so he's been pretty absent this summer. when he goes back to school in a week or so, I'm pretty sure he'll be back running contests, typing LOL KLEENEX > JOSH thrice a day and talking about RPGs. --- iddqd "MY SLEEPING PATTERNS ARE SHOT THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR FANFICTION" -windmage |
