grad school apps suck. good luck on those. I screwed up badly. Tell me about it. After spending damn near a year on applications for all the out-of-state schools I wanted to go to just to see them give me the middle finger, I wish I had applied to an in-state school from the start. I've gotten accepted into UCF twice now (two different programs) and they are still a Top 50 engineering school. I started way too late on grad school apps and had no idea what the
hell I was getting into. I didn't even know anything about the process
involved until my senior year, didn't know what the GREs were, any of
that nonsense. by the time I figured it all out, I was spending more
time on my applications than my last semester of college. then I didn't
get into where I wanted to because I wasn't emailing teachers and

um my mom's in grad school she completed everything with a 3.96GPA (she
had a 4.0 undergrad) but then didn't finish her thesis in time so they
removed all of her credits and told her to start over, including doing

oh sorry was checking a much more entertaining board than this !! ear is still bad, but right now it's mostly just extremely tender. Wtf is with that adjective? 10 - Giggsalot board 8, meet Giggsalot. I've seen you call him an alt several times, and one person went as far as to say he was Red. too bad, cause you're missing out on one of the awesomest people here. Giggs is my musical twin, or at least as close as I've seen on board 8. whenever I need a musical recommendation, I talk to him. he likes near everything I do - Aphex Twin, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Venetian Snares, DJ Shadow, RJD2, god knows what else. I still need to talk to him to get some rap recommendations since my collection is near-empty and I trust him implicitly on such things. (give me your AIM name or something and we'll chat sometime!) games, we don't agree as much, though I saw a recent top ten list and saw FF9 was on there, so I was happy there. Giggs has run some contests, notable a FFX one, but it kind of fell apart at the end when there weren't enough people voting to finish a round. he's too indie for his own good! Giggs is also really nice and never says anything stupid. I love this guy. --- xyzzy |

Oddly, I always thought Giggs and Eggplant Lord were alts to the same
