Yeah, no surprise on AKJ or windmage being that high for him. I
wouldn't have guessed me or Bed Ellis (lolololo~) would be so
high...the only other person I can think of left I don't see on the
list is Master Moltar, and I definitely don't think tran likes him THAT

Moltar's a cool cat and does a great job with the Analysis Crew. I'm
going to use my leverage as a stats topic regular to force him to take
two guests for Sub-Zero / Master Chief so I can get in on that action.
I've been wanting to write about only that match and no one is going to
stop me! ..but yeah, I don't know him well at all since I don't hang out on GFA and he's mostly just a stats topic guy during contest season, so I didn't include him. --- xyzzy |

6 - Karma Hunter my own personal stalker. Karma Hunter follows me from topic to topic harassing me for seemingly no reason whatsoever. I feel loved. KH is freaking awesome. there's three things I love about him: - he's really freaking smart, maybe smarter than anyone else on the board; - he knows more about the site contests and x-stats than just about anyone else; - he's one hell of a gamer. KH is my favourite person to talk about the contest. we don't agree all the time, but I generally find him to be a voice of reason. he can explain anything using x-stats, but isn't bound by them. he comes up with original ideas in debate topics about the contest within seconds, it's really incredible. KH is also an incredible writer, probably my second favourite on the board. his Mega Man writeups were great and I'm not even that big of a Mega Man fan. anytime he does something, I make sure to read it. if he's writing out a huge proof in the stats topic, that's even better since I get into that kind of thing. him writing for the analysis crew this year is going to be great, both because he has a lot of upsets and because he gets to show off his beautiful writing style. then there's gaming. KH has the speed run record in one of the MGS games and the things he does in F-Zero GX scare the bajeezus out of me. I love that game and consider myself pretty good at it, but he could beat me with original vehicles. if I had to describe him in one word, it'd be hardcore. KH likes to pick on me about my "indie cred". (when did this become a popular thing on the board? Icon and I have been joking about our indie cred for like eight months unnoticed and suddenly everyone knows me as Indie Cred Man. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT) truthfully though, we're pretty similar as far as gaming taste goes - Xenogears (converted him! AWW YEAH), Final Fantasy, even Metroid. the only thing we disagree on is Metal Gear Solid, but that's mostly because I haven't given it a chance. I'm also partly responsible for getting him to eat a Metal Gear Solid disc! GET TO IT MAN KH is witty and says original stuff. his two stat topic "fads" that he spawned are x is so screwed and "votal". when I hit up the stats topic, I pray that there's an argument between Leonhart and Karma Hunter going on because it's bound to be interesting and blow my mind. I wish I had more stalkers like him. --- xyzzy |

I'm not on AIM very much because I work til 1am EST... but the name in
my profile is just a random one I made up so people would stop
messaging me. for a while like 15 people would message me at once and I
didn't want to close my list, so I just changed the name in my profile
so people I didn't know would stop. feel free to add transience242 to

heh, from these predictions, looks like HRRH would be the ultimate indie cred choice for #1.. anyway, I'm not gonna be able to finish these tonight (lol xenosaga 3), so I figure it's best to leave it here for the night. I like everyone on the list, but the top 5 are a sizable step above everyone else so far and I'm still not sure what order they're gonna be in. when I started, I was like "hmm, any of my top 5 could be #1 and I'd be happy." so, if you think you're on the list and wanna suck up to me or make me laugh to get a higher spot, you've got about 16 hours! --- xyzzy |

Heh. I like Metroid alright, it's just not THAT special...MP being my
favorite, which was great the first time, but trying it again for a
replay ruined it for me afew months later. I couldn't get used to the
