I'm thinking AKJ will prolly be #1. The more I've seen his posts recently the more I've liked him... plus he's a DDR fan! <3 DDR... Heyo Captain Jack! ...oh wait, we've been down this track before... 3 - Ed Bellis if I were making a list of the "best" board 8ers, Ed Bellis would be my easy #1. Ed Bellis is just amazing so many things: - writing. he's my favourite writer on the board. I absolutely love seeing a wall of text from him, because I know I'm going to enjoy reading it. most people's walls of text don't really interest me, but Bellis's are always great. back when I ran rate the user, my favourite part every day was when he'd talk about the person. he'd usually be dead on too. there's a reason that Bellis's talk about the users topic hit 500 in no time at all and is working on hitting 500 a second time. that's incredible. just look at him in the rap battles - he writes rap like it's natural to him. - intelligence. Bellis is smart and, more importantly, perceptive. he always seems to have a feel of what's going on on the board. if I'm acting strange, he's the first one to notice. if there's a debate about something and he's involved, I usually find him to be the most sensible in the debate. his only fault is that he's too sensitive for his own good and has moments when he takes the internet to heart a little too much, but I can't blame him there. everyone does that sometimes, myself included. - comedy. Bellis cracks me the hell up. he can out-ertyu Sess, Tombs and EC. his regular style of posting is pretty funny too. he can also take a joke, such as his infamous ED BELLIS AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE or jokes about the kickass mammerjammer. - everything else. Bellis is pretty nice and really caring for his internet friends such as myself or Repus or Kleenex or whoever. he runs a good contest when he has the time to bother. he posts literally everywhere on the site, from MBH to secret boards to dead boards to who knows where else. I find myself going through my active messages and responding to Bellis on 20 different boards sometimes. he's an alt whore and uses them in an entertaining way. Bellis is just amazing to me. --- xyzzy |
