Good calls. Though I really can't think of eight people who should be above HM. >_> Sir Chris, Josh, AT, maybe Aeon... Zachnorn? Huh, must've forgotten him when I made my predictions. Then there's Icehawk, Zen, stingers, pikaness, Veenex... that's ten, but I'd probably only put two or three of them in this top 8. Then again, I had doubts about you getting 20 people above DSRage/Leonhart/SHINE, so there's probably someone I'm forgetting or underestimating. --- Those who cast the vote decide nothing. 8. DpObliVion Best of the casuals. For as inactive as he seemed to be in 2006, Dp was literally everywhere this year: sports league topics, the Analysis Crew, contests, writing projects... it's hard not to notice the guy. Everywhere he goes Dp seems to leave a favorable impression: he's a very laidback guy like that. He was one of the best users last year to talk about sports with, and he was one of the biggest contributors to the many Sports League topics throughout the board. It's tough to pinpoint one thing Dp really "did" in 2006 - as with the rest of the "casuals," Dp is sort of always here, posting and being a genuinely decent guy. Yet that's what sets him apart from the rest - Dp, more than any other casual user this year, was pretty much always here, and always to start a conversation, be it about the contest, sports, or any other number of topics. One of the guys that really made Board 8 feel like "home." --- This was Ed Bellis. Rufus Shinra 18 took a shotgun to my bracket. Congrats, Guru champ! |
