3. neonreaper Perhaps the sanest user of the year. Scary, huh? As I said, when I first made this list, three users leaped out at me as being the best of the year - and neon immediately came first. Here's why: neonreaper is easily one of the most laid-back, upfront, and chill people on the board. The dude can walk into any topic and immediately say what's on his mind in a way that's both non-confrontational and completely genuine. This makes him one of the most valuable posters on the board because neonreaper, perhaps moreso than anyone else, has an uncanny ability to see through anyone's bull. Whether he's calling Ulti to task for his awful and unfounded statements against MMORPG addicts or patiently explaining to Vlado why what he does is considered trolling or strolling into an argument about console wars and calmly talking about his points and showing others why they're arguing like idiots, neon adds a touch of class to almost anything he touches. Thing is, neon's also got a trolling side, one he seems to have "grown out of" from very early in the year. neon sometimes subscribes to the Alex Shelley school of humor, and like Alex he uses it well, to point out potential BS or turn a stupid topic into a hilarious one. I can't count the number of times neon has done just this: clicked on a stupid topic and turned it upside-down, either through calm rationality or complete buffoonery. Nobody else on the board seems able to pull both punches equally well except neon. This is likely a surprise to almost everybody - yet to me it's as natural as his posting style. Wow, truly an awesome pick. Neon is quickly becoming one of my favorite
users here. I'd argue he's probably the most intelligent person here,

And yeah Bellster, you probably also saw neon actually give Vlado
suggestions for the VAPE when he asked for them. They were really great
suggestions too. Instead of flaming like everyone else, he kinda solved

I really like Neon and in a way we're quite similar. I think I'd be

and I just thought I'd add that neon is invaluable as a user to me
personally in ways no one else can be since he's the oldest regular
poster here. he gives a sense of perspective that younger people can't
